Covid-19 and our terms and conditions.

Our guiding principle at this time is to work with our clients to ensure the safe delivery of events for you, your family and friends, and our Canberra community. 

Cleaning

All props are cleaned with antibacterial wipes and/or antibacterial spray prior to reuse and our attendant will be actively wiping down hard surfaces and the photobooth throughout your event.
 

 

Vaccination and face masks

Our team are all triple vaccinated and will adhere to the state guidance on PPE and facemask while we set up, pack down and manage the photo booth.  Our priority is to keep our community safe and help reduce the spread of Covid-19.
 

What happens if Covid-19 cancels your event?

If you're ill, in isolation, or have to change your event due to a Covid-19 or a Covid-19 lockdown, we'll gladly shift your deposit to a new date (one change per client) where we have availability. Should your preferred date not be available, due to prior booking, the deposit ($50) is not refundable.

 

We appreciate that cancellations may happen at the last minute and we accept that in these times this is likely to happen. We want parties to go ahead and we'll work with you to find a suitable future date.  

Keeping Covid safe

​As part of our service offering, our team will take extra precautions with our health and do our utmost to ensure we are operating in a Covid safe manner.  Our team are committed to informing management immediately if they have been exposed to Covid and will follow all requirements for testing and isolation as directed by ACT and NSW Health.  Where our team has been exposed to Covid-19, we will contact you immediately if this impacts our ability to deliver our service.  We have a team of 4, so the risk of this happening is very, very, small. 

Where we are unable to accommodate your party due to being in isolation from Covid, we promise to contact you immediately and will offer you a refund of your deposit and any additional monies paid or reschedule your party date, whichever you prefer.

Malicious damage

Events can get roudy, especially when alcohol is served.  To make sure we keep our booth in working order for future guests, we take care and concern to keep our team and equipment safe and damage-free.

 

Our booth attendant reserves the right to request any onsite security to remove any guest(s), suspend service or shut-off service, where dangerous or anti-social behaviour compromises their safety or the integrity of our booth. 

Where you or a guest of your event causes malicious damage to our photo booth, Captured Events will pursue charges and/or compensation for any damages incurred.  

In paying your deposit, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
